Yes, we have added WooCommerce to our ever growing list of fulfilment connectors! WooCommerce is one of the most popular WordPress eCommerce plugins, which is not surprising considering they claim that 30% of online stores use Woo. Woo allows anyone to set up and run a stylish eCommerce site very quickly. Today Woo is being used by well known brands including, the Spectator and Entrepreneur.com.

WooCommerce made a REST API available from version 2.1 onwards which allows us to easily integrate with the plugin for efficient order fulfilment. By using the Woo API we can retrieve orders placed in Woo as soon as the payment gateway confirms the funds have been received. The order is then imported into our industry leading fulfilment software, ControlPort where the order can be viewed while being processed live. When the order is dispatched ControlPort pushs back to Woo updating the order and triggering customer notification emails.

It is easy to set up an integration between James and James Fulfilment and WooCommerce with minimal configuration required on each side. The whole process can be completed in a couple of minutes.

Using modern REST API eliminates legacy fulfilment systems such as FTP file transfers and CSV uploads, all of which can cause delays and order bottlenecks. Receiving orders as they are placed ensures they are fulfilled in the most efficient way possible.
