James and James hang around at Internet Retailing Expo 2014
Arthur C Clark said “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” This is something James and James Fulfilment decided to demonstrate at this year’s Internet Retailing Expo. Never ones for following the lead of others, we decided to do something a little different at the Internet Retailing Expo and, quite literally, walk on air.
James Strachan and other members of the team where found levitating at their stand, complete with James and James Fulfilment’s sign and full wizard dress. Though we are keen to point out that, as remarkable as it seems, it is not magic. The trick, assembled by TEC in Burwell, Cambridgeshire, has been created with the same principles of good design and process engineering that sets James and James Fulfilment apart from other solutions.
We had a great two days at Internet Retailing Expo and enjoyed wowing the crowds, many of whom were baffled by how the stunt was achieved. We were delighted that James Strachan was interviewed on camera by Ian Jindal, editor-in-chief of Internet Retailing Magazine. It seems that everyone likes a bit of magic.
