We\u2019d like to share a highly requested update to ControlPort; enhanced fraud control for our Shopify clients.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>What\u2019s new?<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019ve introduced a new ControlPort configuration for Shopify channels that allows our clients to have more control over potentially fraudulent orders.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shopify has had a built-in fraud recommendation feature that tells you if an order has a low, medium, or high chance of incurring a chargeback due to fraud.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our new feature (when enabled) allows Controlport to automatically consult Shopify\u2019s fraud recommendation tool at point-of-sale, and you can choose what happens at each risk level.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This feature is completely optional, and you\u2019ll still be able to hold orders at a specified monetary amount if you\u2019d prefer.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>How to enable enhanced fraud control for Shopify<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enabling this new feature is simple, and will take you less than two minutes. Head to your ControlPort dashboard, and click <\/span><b>Settings &gt; Your channels &gt; Shopify &gt; Configure &gt; Fraud Control.&nbsp;<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then, under \u2018Risk Level\u2019, you have one of three options: <\/span><b>Hold nothing, Hold high only, Hold medium and high. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select your preferred option and you\u2019re all set!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Why we\u2019ve made this change<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This new feature benefits our clients in a number of ways:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reduces the chances of fraud from occurring<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Further automates the anti-fraud process, saving you time<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gives you a greater degree of control and flexibility\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019d love to hear your feedback regarding this update, so please don\u2019t hesitate to get in touch with any comments you may have.
