James and James has won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the field of International Trade, following a 1,700% increase in export revenues over the last five years. It’s the second time we’ve received the accolade, having won in the field of Innovation in 2016.

The Queen’s Awards have been given to fewer than 8,000 companies since their inception in 1965, with winners announced on April 21 – the Queen’s birthday – every year. In 2020, we were among 128 companies to win in the International Trade category.

James Hyde, CEO and Co-founder, says: “Part of our mission is to help online retailers scale internationally and deliver a consistently brilliant experience to customers, no matter where in the world they are.

“So over the last few years, we’ve set up our own fulfillment center in the USA, partnered with New Zealand Post to develop another there, and brought clients from 27 new countries on board. We’re proud that our international expansion is helping other businesses grow globally and has now been recognized with this new Queen’s Award.”

The Award follows a recent £11 million investment from private equity investor LDC, part of Lloyds Banking Group, which will enable us to further enhance our software services and operating infrastructure, including internationally.
