It\u2019s always been a hot topic for HR profs, with widespread debates around productivity levels, inclusiveness, and lack of collaboration. While there are some drawbacks, Covid has forced us into this way of working and businesses are realising the real benefits \u2013 no more commuting, spending more time with family, preparing healthy meals, and exercising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, it\u2019s no surprise that the health industry thrived, and continues to thrive, throughout the pandemic. Lockdown burnout is a thing, especially third-time round, and these are the products that help us regain energy and maintain our mental wellbeing during unsettling times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We know people turn to comfort&nbsp;<a href=\"\/order-fulfilment\/food-drink-fulfilment\/\">foods<\/a>&nbsp;when they\u2019re feeling low (mac and cheese comes to mind), but we also know that Covid has alerted many to the status of their health \u2013 and while cheese tastes good, too much of it probably isn\u2019t going to give us that energy boost we need. So we\u2019re getting creative. We\u2019re using lentils, including more&nbsp;<a href=\"\/order-fulfilment\/supplement-vitamin-fulfilment\/\">protein products<\/a>&nbsp;and snacking on healthier things that taste good \u2013 but are a little kinder on our cholesterol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Presents in place of presence<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Another major facet of life that Covid impacted \u2013 social interaction with people outside of our households. While nothing can beat physical hugs and togetherness, we\u2019ve seen increased&nbsp;<a href=\"\/order-fulfilment\/stationery-gift-fulfilment\/\">online gift buying<\/a>&nbsp;and people crafting their own&nbsp;gifts&nbsp;to deliver to doorsteps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Presence will always be favoured over presents, but while people are separated, brands that offer something special and meaningful will have seen \u2013 and continue to see \u2013 a surge in sales to meet that need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Anxiety-reducing ambience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Comfort, Colour and Conscientiousness. Some interior designers say these are the three C\u2019s which feature heavily in the latest home&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.oberlo.co.uk\/ebooks\/best-products-to-sell\/home-products\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">product trends<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we spend more time within the same four walls, we\u2019re looking for ways to make those four walls more interesting, cosy and welcoming. Natural light is a key element for improving daily wellbeing and a pop of colour goes a long way to improving our mood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For comfort, think diffusers, candles, house plants, pillows, LED lighting \u2013 these are the type of products doing well in home decor. They may be&nbsp;<a href=\"\/order-fulfilment\/product-fulfilment\/\">small products<\/a>, but they\u2019re making a big difference to our surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/globescan.com\/people-want-healthy-sustainable-living-choices-2020\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">conscientious consumer<\/a>&nbsp;makes considered choices about their home purchases. They\u2019re searching for \u2018plastic-free\u2019, \u2018zero waste\u2019, \u2018recyclable\u2019, \u2018reusable swaps\u2019. If they know they\u2019re doing good for the planet, they\u2019ll feel good about it.
