After receiving some constructive feedback from our clients, we agreed that there was room for improvement in the way we fulfill wholesale orders. So, we put our heads together, and now we\u2019re pleased to announce that in August, we\u2019ll be rolling out additional functionality to ControlPort that will greatly enhance your ability to fulfill wholesale orders through James and James.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can find a comprehensive overview of the update, including features and benefits, below:<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"margin-top: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Benefits<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">We\u2019ve cut down the time it takes for you to place wholesale orders at our fulfillment centers<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">You can now add more detail upfront to reduce communication costs and potential delays<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">We\u2019ve streamlined the way we do things to speed up processing times<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">More consistent delivery requirements, and greater clarity<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">There\u2019s now better reporting on special order types<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Addresses can now be added to orders for collection<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">New order instructions give you greater control over how we pick, pack, and ship your orders<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"margin-top: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New client features\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><b>New order page<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">The add new order screen has been streamlined, to make the process of adding a new manual order easier and more efficient<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Information related to wholesale and export orders has been reorganized to be easier to complete<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">This includes adding new order types, which can also be used for filtering and reporting<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Standard<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Wholesale (includes old Amendments)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Destroy<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Rework<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Wholesale orders<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">New functionality has been added to make it easier to place wholesale and B2B orders within ControlPort.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Order type specifically for \u201cWholesale\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Grouping of fields which are specific to wholesale orders for ease of use<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Check the box for orders which require a timed delivery slot (freight orders only)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Estimate of pick fees shown in advance<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">\u201cAmendments\u201d have been removed and replaced with \u201cOrder instructions\u201d which allows you to provide more detailed information on the three key areas for successful wholesale order processing<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Packing requests (full cases, 4 per box etc, showing example text in the input box)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Attach labels (with a text box for a comment, showing example text in the input box)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Transport (with example text)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Order instructions can now be added on the same page, without having to save and then add them to the order<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Large order pack process<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<div>We have made updates to how we pick large orders to better consolidate the SKUs onto multiple\u00a0pallets<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<div>Larger orders will now be sent to a separate, dedicated packing team<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Order instructions<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">To cut back processing times,\u00a0 we\u2019ve introduced \u2018order instructions\u2019, allowing you to give us clear instructions before we begin packing your order. With this new feature, you can provide us with:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Packing instructions<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Labelling instructions<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 300;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Freight instructions<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">We\u2019ve introduced this feature to give you full control over instructions before the picking process begins. If you still need to make amendments after you\u2019ve sent your order to us via ControlPort, you will now need to place an order for a Rework.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Collection of standard orders<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Collection of non-wholesale orders is not permitted.
