In this update, Stuart walks us through the key developments across our global network in Q1 (April to June 2025) and shares what\u2019s coming up in Q2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Strong Volumes &amp; Performance Across Our Network<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We kicked off the year with impressive momentum. Across all our global sites, we shipped <strong>2,084,004 orders<\/strong> in Q1, equating to over <strong>6.5 million units<\/strong> picked\/ packed. It\u2019s a clear indication of the scale we\u2019ve built and the capability we continue to deliver for our clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These results were backed by strong KPIs and SLAs, and are a testament to the exceptional teams we have across all of our global locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Internal Promotions &amp; Team Highlights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re proud to celebrate the continued growth and development of our people:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Michael Murphy<\/strong>, previously our Outbound Operations Manager, has been promoted to Head of UK Operations. A well-deserved step up, congratulations, Michael!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Martina Silinkovic<\/strong>, formerly our Flow Manager, has stepped into a new role as Shift Manager. Another fantastic internal progression.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s always rewarding to see talent rise from within the business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Columbus Expansion &amp; Global Alignment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019ve made several trips to our <strong>Columbus site<\/strong> recently to ensure full alignment between our UK and <a href=\"\/fulfilment-centres\/us\/\">US operations<\/a>, and I\u2019ll be heading back again on 30th July. On top of that, we\u2019re expanding our footprint in Columbus with a new facility and increased headcount, reinforcing our commitment to serving North American clients with speed and scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also recently underwent a <strong>full SAFEX audit<\/strong> at the Columbus site, a comprehensive health and safety review. We\u2019re pleased to report very positive results, a reflection of our team&#8217;s dedication to safe and efficient operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Site Now Live in Poland<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re excited to announce that our new fulfilment centre in <strong><a href=\"\/jj-poland-is-now-open\/\">Gorz\u00f3w, Poland<\/a><\/strong> is now operational! Over the coming months, we\u2019ll be onboarding EU clients into this site to strengthen our offering across <a href=\"\/fulfilment-centres\/eu\/\">Europe<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The site also supports the shipping of dangerous and hazardous goods, making it a great fit for cosmetics, electronics, and similar product categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Looking Ahead: Peak 2025 Planning<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Peak season preparations are already underway across all departments. Our structured plan includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Inbound<\/strong> planning throughout August, September, and October 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Outbound<\/strong> and final mile focus in November and December 2025, especially around Black Friday<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Returns processing<\/strong> ramping up through January and February 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re working closely with all our global clients to ensure another successful peak trading period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks for reading, and I look forward to sharing more in our next quarterly update.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re back with the first quarterly round-up of the new financial year!
