James and James Fulfilment has been awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the field of Innovation. The Award recognises the company’s continued contributions to eCommerce excellence within the UK and across borders, as well as its unique technology-focused approach to the fulfilment process.

The awards are publicly announced every year on April 21, Her Majesty The Queen’s birthday, and are considered the UK’s highest accolade in business. Notable recipients of the award from recent years include DPD, BT (British Telecom) and Siemens.

Its team’s dedication to the continued development and execution of an intelligent and flexible eCommerce order fulfilment service has seen the company thrive since its inception in 2010. The company now operates warehouses on three continents and provides services to many high-profile clients across the globe.

James and James’s innovative ControlPort™ interface allows clients to access a comprehensive picture of stock levels, order volumes and other more detailed data in real-time through the cloud, helping them streamline operations and ensure customers are never disappointed. End customers themselves are also able to access live tracking data on their purchases from the moment an order is placed.

The award itself will be officially presented to James and James within the next few months by the Lord Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire. Founders James Hyde and James Strachan have also been invited to attend a reception at Buckingham Palace on 14 July 2016.
