Recently, we shared the exciting news that J&J Global Fulfilment has been acquired by QLS. Following on from that announcement, our CEO, Emma Dempsey, has a short message to share with you regarding the acquisition. You can watch the video message above, or alternatively, read the full transcript below.

Hi, I’m Emma Dempsey, CEO here at J&J Global Fulfilment.

You may have heard the news by now – J&J has been acquired by QLS, a forward-thinking fulfilment business based in the Netherlands. Backed by Waterland, QLS’s private equity partner, J&J, and QLS together will become one of Europe’s market-leading fulfilment providers.

This is an incredible milestone for us. Over the last 15 years, we’ve grown from a small founder-led business in Cambridge into a truly global operation, with sites across five continents and more than 40 million orders fulfilled. And now, with the support of QLS and Waterland, we’re well-positioned to go much further.

So, what does this mean for our clients and our people?

Well, the core of J&J stays exactly the same. Our culture and values remain at the heart of who we are,  and they’re fully supported by our new partners. To our clients, you’ll have the same teams, the same sites, and the same commitment to exceptional service.

But this partnership opens the door to much more.

We’ll be able to invest further in our services, our technology, and our people. And importantly, we’ll give our clients access to a larger network and broader geographic coverage than ever before, with more carriers, more integrations, and more options.

It’s been an incredible journey so far, and with QLS and Waterland behind us, we’re in a fantastic position to keep growing, innovating, and delivering for another 15 years and beyond.

We couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead for J&J Global Fulfilment. Thanks for watching, and you’ll be hearing much more from us very soon.

Stay tuned for more updates

The whole team at J&J are looking forward to this incredible new chapter for the business. We’ll have much more to share with you through 2026 and beyond, so keep your eyes peeled for future updates.
